Take a full tour of this 18 ft custom food truck built by Smart Food Truck for Avie Lee’s Fish and Chicken. This project started with a 2014 Ford commercial step van and was completely transformed into a fully functional mobile kitchen designed around the customer’s menu, equipment, workflow and vision. Inside, we built a complete commercial kitchen featuring four fryers, a charbroiler, stock pot range, salamander, refrigeration, stainless steel preparation areas, commercial hood and ventilation, plumbing, propane systems, air conditioning and much more. The truck also features onboard generator power, a custom service area, exterior lighting, surveillance cameras and a complete custom wrap and design. In this video, we walk through the finished truck and show how the different systems and equipment were integrated to create a mobile kitchen specifically designed for the way this customer plans to operate.
